LEGO Batman and LEGO Ninjago to hit the screen in 2017!
2017 is going to be a great year for LEGO fans, as Warner Bros have announced the release dates for both LEGO Batman and LEGO Ninjago.
As reported in Variety, the as yet untitled Batman flick will hit the screen on February 10th 2017, with the Ninjago spinoff coming later that year in late September (22nd).
Dan Fellman, president of domestic distribution at Warner Bros was quoted as saying: “We are very excited about dating our upcoming Lego animated features, which already have a worldwide fan following, built on the foundation of the first film.”
Animal Logic’s Animation production teams have already started work on both films at our studio headquarters in Sydney, Australia.
Zareh Nalbandian, CEO of Animal Logic, said: “The caped crusader was one of the most loved characters from the first LEGO Movie, and we can’t wait to give him his very own adventure. The Ninjago feature will be something completely different again, and a further expansion of a LEGO universe our Animation division pioneered with the first film.”
