The MayaMan Menu

The MayaMan Menu provied access to the actions such as adding attribute noded or rendering

MayaMan Globals

This option will display a dialog containing all of MayaMan's global settings.

Add Model/ Light/ Material/ Texture/ Layer/ Fur/ Attributes

These options will attach custom MayaMan Attributes nodes and/or Extra Attributes to the selected objects.

Go here for information on the subdivision tools.

Preview

MayaMan will render the current frame to the screen.

Render Single Frame

MayaMan will render the current frame to the display driver that is set in object archiving feature, which enables groups/hierarchies of objects to be manually exported as RIB archives.

Render Shadow Map...

This menu item will render the shadow map for the currently selected light. Once the shadow map has been created, it will be automatically be assigned to the light as a "Custom Shadow Map", meaning that MayaMan will reuse that shadow map for all frames, even if the light moves.

The "Use Full Paths" option determines whether MayaMan will use explicit or relative paths in the RIB files. If relative paths are used then the user-specified "Shadow Map Directory" will be automatically added to MayaMan Global Options: RenderMan Search Paths: Texture Paths.
